For too long, studying abroad and international travel felt like privileges reserved for a few. We built Àlobọ to change that — with real guidance, genuine care, and the kind of expertise that only comes from doing this, over and over, for people who look like our clients.
How We Got Here.
Where it started.
Founded in Lagos by two people tired of watching talented Nigerians miss out on study abroad opportunities because the process felt impossible. We knew the way, the right universities, the right applications, the right visa strategies. So we started showing others.
The model worked.
Our first cohourt was placed in UK and Canadian universities. Zero shortcuts, every application built with care, every personal statement written properly, every visa letter prepared to standard. Word spread fast.
Scale without compromise.
100 students placed. Then 200. Families and professionals started calling. The reputation grew because the results were real. We never traded quality for volume.
Tourism joins the story.
Clients started asking: 'Can you help me travel for pleasure too?' The answer was always yes. We formalised our tourism offering, curated itineraries for families, couples, honeymooners, and solo travellers. Bali. Paris. Dubai. Rome.
Still growing. Still independent. ·
